From its beginning, the Sierra Club has encouraged its members to get outdoors. Walk in the woods, climb a mountain, swim in a lake. Sierra Club members like being in nature. Our local Group tries to make it easy for you to do just that. We provide opportunities for you to go on Outings with us. Throughout the year we find interesting and beautiful places for a leisurely walk or a more strenous hike, snoeshoing or climbing. We try to find service projects to work on, like cleaning out invasive plants or working to clean a river or repair a trail. We also offer some indoor "Outings," such as a movie night or a special lecture.
You will find our Outings Offerings announced here on the GWG website, in our quarterly paper Newsletter, and in our E-Letter blasts that show up in your email box.
Also, if you have any ideas for an interesting Outing, please tell us and we will try to make it happen. And, if you would like to lead an Outing, all the better. Just let us know your interest.
Now, check out the Outings planned for the next two months.
